Delivr Pages: How do I add SoundCloud audio track or SoundCloud playlist?

Use the Media Block feature to add a SoundCloud audio track or SoundCloud playlist to a Delivr page-type campaign (a page-type campaign is a mobile-friendly landing page hosted on Delivr).

To add a SoundCloud track or playlist enter the SoundCloud’s track ‘Widget Code’ code into the Media Block field. Here is how to do this:

  1. Go to a SoundCloud page for the soundtrack or playlist you want to add. An example page URL: https://soundcloud.com/mrsebp
  2. Click on the fourth icon from the right below the sound track/playlist you want to add; it is the icon with the rectangle and arrow and the word ‘Share’.
  3. When the dialogue box opens, look for the section named ‘Widget Code’, currently in the middle of the dialogue box.
  4. Select and copy the ‘Widget Code’ code.

  5. Go to delivr.com, log in either create a new “Page” or edit an existing page-type campaign.
  6. Paste the copied ‘Widget Code’ code into the Media Block field.
  7. Click on the [Save] button (you might need to scroll down to reach the button located towards the bottom of the page).

Creating a mobile bookmarklet on a mobile device is still annoying but we believe in Delivr’s case worth the one time effort.

  1. Visit http://delivr.com/bmc from your iPhone and bookmark it.
  2. Go to Bookmarks, “Edit” then select the “Delivr Bookmarklet” Bookmark.
  3. Delete “http://delivr.com/bmc?” from the beginning of the link and click “Done” (The new link should start with “javascript:”. If so, click “Done”)
  4. The javascript that remains is the Delivr Bookmarklet.

The use of coupons as part of brands’ direct marketing strategies continues to thrive. In fact, we are seeing a trend that consumers are increasingly turning to coupons on mobile devices with direct conversion at the point-of-sale.

A report issued by Juniper Research – “Mobile Coupons: Strategies, Opportunities & Forecasts 2012-2017” – found that the number of consumers globally who receive coupons through mobile devices is predicted to rise by 30 percent to over 500 million people this year owing in part to the integration of couponing platforms with social networks. Likewise in the U.S. market, eMarketer predicts that from 2010 to 2014, the number of people who use mobile coupons will have grown from 12.3 to 53.2 million. This means one in four mobile phone owners will redeem a coupon using their devices by next year.

Even tech behemoths Apple and Google realize there is a huge opportunity in mobile couponing. Google released a recent report – “Mobile In-Store Research: How In-Store Shoppers are Using Mobile Devices” – that says shoppers who use mobile devices in-store spend 25 to 50 percent more than ones who do not.

Just as the mobile app market has exploded, ResponsiveAds believes that incorporating real-time apps in ads that work across screens is a huge disruptive opportunity for marketers. Hurricane Sandy Update

As you know Hurricane Sandy was a devastating event on the East Coast , especially in NJ, NYC and Long Island. Our thoughts are with all of those who suffered lose.

Delivr took every precaution to protect your business and I am happy to say that we had no storm related outages in our NY-area facility. We remained fully operational with no loss of service throughout the hurricane and in the aftermath.

We went onto generator power (fed by underground natural gas lines) in our facility at approximately 5 PM Monday and ran without issue on generator power until 7:30 PM Sunday at which time commercial power was restored and we seamlessly switched back to commercial power.

This is the second hurricane in 2 years that our facility withstood without incident.

I want to thank you for your continued trust you have placed in Delivr.   We are working hard for you every day.
